Check the red text at the bottom of the post for a small update!

Do you want to know what a game development studio looks like up close? Or what a day in the life of an employee there looks like? Then this is your chance!

DGDARC has, with funding from Level-Up! and help from the DGG, received the possibility to organise a few networking drinks. These have the purpose to inform students of the real work in the Game Development industry, so you know what you’re up for when you apply for an internship or job, as it seems even a lot of pre-graduates don’t really know.

Otherwise, there will also be moments where game development companies are present to find interns, for either an internship, capita selecta or master thesis. Of course these are all positions that are perfect for your portfolio.

This first drink has the theme ‘kennismaking’ which means ‘getting acquainted’, or better, get to know some game development companies and perhaps even take a look in their offices. The drink will takue place on wednesday February 15th at 15:00 on the Neude in Utrecht. The event is free to attend and has very low standards, better said, it doesn’t matter whether you are a first year or a master student, come and drop by for a drink!

Update (10/2/’12):
We have reached the maximum sign-up cap! This means that, even if you sign up now, you might not be able to join in on the fun because the hall simply is.. full.

Our apologies for the inconvenience, we had not expected the event to be this popular and we will look for a bigger location next time!
